Shaun Smith

Shaun Smith is a product manager for Oracle TopLink and an active member of the Eclipse community. He's Ecosystem Development Lead for the Eclipse Persistence Services Project (EclipeLink) where he has been working on delivering EclipseLink as a set of bundles capable of providing JPA persistence in any OSGi environment. In the Eclipse EMFT Teneo project he's integrating the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) with EclipseLink JPA to support model driven enterprise application development. He's co-lead of the Eclipse Dali Java Persistence API Tools Project which provides tools for developing JPA applications. At Oracle he's a product manager for Oracle TopLink, a commercial distribution of EclipseLink. Prior to joining the TopLink team at Oracle, Shaun was a consultant specializing in application architecture and an agile software development coach with a particular focus on developing enterprise applications using test driven design. He's a frequent conference presenter on the topic of object persistence.
